Intermediate Kayaking for Teacher Leaders @ Cultus Lake (SD33 Teachers/TTOCs/Admin ONLY)

This kayaking session is for people who have paddling experience and want to be more helpful when their classes have a
kayaking field trip. We cover equipment, basic safety skills and hazard recognition. Note that participants will need paddling experience and will be required to perform a "wet exit" during the session.  This is a full-day session at Cultus Lake beginning at 10:00 am.

Fees

$ 40.00
$40.00 will be automatically deducted from your Individual ProD funds.
Parking should be free, but if not, you may claim it with your funds. Keep the receipt.

To Bring/Important Notes

  • A change of clothes
  • Bathing suit and towel
  • Polypropylene, Capilene, or other synthetic long underwear (avoid cotton)
  • Aqua socks or wet suit booties (foot room in kayaks can be tight)
  • Water and lunch
  • Sunscreen (yes, even on cloudy days)
  • Noseplugs (optional, some people prefer them)
  • A smile!
